About Sanjaya Fast Boat: Reliable Transfers from Sanur to Nusa Penida
About Sanjaya Fast Boat has operated the Sanur to Nusa Penida crossing every day since 2017. In that time, we’ve grown from a single vessel to a two-boat fleet Sanjaya 01 and Sanjaya 02 and the Badung Strait has gone from a crossing most travelers approached with some apprehension to one of the most routine 45-minute boat rides in Bali. What hasn’t changed is what we built the operation around from the start with captain and crew who know this stretch of water, a fixed daily schedule we actually keep, and the kind of service that comes from doing the same crossing, with the same team, every single day for years.
Daily Departure Schedule
Three departures a day, every day, in each direction such as 07.30, 08.30, and 10.30 from Sanur, and 09.00, 14.30, and 16.30 from Banjar Nyuh Port. The schedule doesn't change with the seasons, which means you can plan your Nusa Penida day around it with confidence.
Professional Crew
Every crossing is staffed by six crew members: one licensed captain, one chief engineer, and four deck crew. Our captains hold professional maritime certifications and have years of experience specifically on the Sanur to Nusa Penida route, they know how the Badung Strait behaves in different conditions, not just how to operate a boat.
The Fleet
Sanjaya 01 (76 passengers) and Sanjaya 02 (132 passengers) are both powered by Yamaha 4-stroke engines producing up to 1,250 HP combined. Cabins are air-conditioned with forward-facing seating, and both vessels depart from the covered, paved-pier terminal at Sanur, no wading required at either end of the crossing.
